Big changes are in store for the renowned Chevy VetteFest! In the past, the VetteFest has been a stand-alone event featuring Chevy’s very best. From sleek and sweet Corvettes, to screamin’ muscle cars, the Chevy VetteFest brought the ultimate in original and restored Corvettes and Chevrolets to the Windy City.
Now the Chevy VetteFest is incorporated into three of the biggest, most well-respected and longest-running indoor custom car show events in the country: the O’Reilly Autorama – Houston; the O’Reilly World of Wheels – Kansas City; and, the O’Reilly World of Wheels – Chicago. This change brings the VetteFest to much larger venues with greater spectator draws. As a “show within a show,” the VetteFest now enjoys greater visibility and exposes VetteFest exhibitors and their entries to more media coverage and larger audiences.
Considered one of the Corvette World’s most prestigious prizes, the Triple Crown Award is the ultimate achievement for a Corvette Owner. To qualify for the Triple Crown, a Corvette must have achieved a Bloomington Gold Certificate, and N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award and a Gold Spinner Award. You must enter both the Gold Spinner Concourse and the Triple Crown concurrently. If your Corvette achieves Gold Spinner status in the competition, it will simultaneously achieve Triple Crown status. Corvettes that achieve Triple Crown status will be registered in the official Triple Crown Registry and receive a beautiful oak-based award with an engraved plate and Official Triple Crown Medallion, along with a Triple Crown registry certificate.
Note: Your Corvette must hold a Bloomington Gold Certificate and an N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award to be eligible for the Triple Crown. Be sure to enclose a copy of your Bloomington Gold Certificate, verification of your N.C.R.S. Top Flight Status and copy of your title when entering your Corvette for the Triple Crown Award.
The Gold Spinner Concours is the best of the best original and restored vehicles. If you feel your Corvette or Chevy has what it takes to compete in one of the country’s most rigorous tests of originality, attention to detail and cleanliness, then the Gold Spinner Concours is for you! Gold, Silver and Bronze Spinner plaques will be awarded on a percentage of points achieved basis. For Gold Spinner, a car must score 95% to 100%; for Silver Spinner, 89% to 94%; and for Bronze, 82% to 88%.
Each vehicle entered will also receive a special certificate inscribed with the owner’s name, vehicle’s model, year and serial number and official Spinner Registry number.
