About the Legend Cup Award

The Legend Cup was created in 2007 and in a few short years has become one of the most prestigious awards nationwide!

The Legend Cup is presented to an outstanding first time shown vehicle at the Chicago World of Wheels as selected by the World of Wheels Advisory Board. It is not an ISCA judged award. The Legend Cup was created to honor a vehicle that possesses outstanding style and design characteristics combined with quality and craftsmanship.

While the Legend Cup recognized workmanship, degree of difficulty, engineering and detailing, the crux of the Legend Cup is style and design. The ISCA Show Circuit uses these same criteria as the basis of its judging system. The Legend Cup process begins with twenty outstanding entries being selected on the Friday of the show. From there it is narrowed down to the “Select Six,” which as with the winner, must be their first time shown in the chicago World of Wheels. This selection is done by Saturday morning so that the “Select Six” will be able to display their special plaques. The winner of the Legend Cup is announced Sunday night at the awards ceremony.

With emphasis on style and design, it would therefore, be possible for a vehicle that has exceptional styling and design to come out ahead in the Legend Cup selection and beat entries of equal or greater quality with more flash, detail and modifications.
